☺Another Collective Haul☺

Shopping on a budget is great when you know how and where to get the coupons to get discounts on your favorite brands.

Also, it is good to have an eye for things that look expensive but really aren't.

I am a thrifty person, and know how to get the most for my money when I am shopping. In the side bar, you will find links to sites where you can get the most without fainting at the end when you get your financial statement! LOL! Be sure to check them out.

These are some of the things I had been waiting on/ or waiting to purchase since my last haul. I probably won't be doing much more of these for a while since I am on a 52-week financial challenge.

✿☛My Simple Skin Care Routine☚✿

All my life I have been complimented on my skin. While I have to attribute some of it to genes and heredity, I also take very good care of my skin. I have always loved fresh fruits and veggies, and would have no problem living on those if those were the only food choices left in the world! I also love to drink water and get regular exercise, and I refrain from touching my face as a reflex action.

Last year, I began using Country Life Maxi Hair (Maximized) which is a supplement for the nourishment and maintenance of healthy hair, skin, and nails. See my previous blog posts on my experience with it below:

Initial Review

Month 1

Month 2

I keep my regimen very simple, and I do not need to use a lot of products. I do not have large pores nor acneic skin. My skin type is normal, and has a tendency to become dry on occasion.

As per request, in the video I show what I use to keep my skin healthy.

Disclaimer: This is just my regimen which works for me, and I am in no way advancing that anyone reading this should do as I do, or use what I use. If you have something that works for you, then continue to use it. As the saying goes, "if it ain't broke, then don't try to fix it."

♥♥♥♥I Love Carnival!♥♥♥♥

I love Carnival! Since I couldn't be at any of them, I decided to create my own fun by donning this costume that I have owned for just about 3 years! LOL! I got it for my model to wear when I entered a competition for MakeUp Artists here in Dallas, back in 2010.

This is not really a tutorial, but you can take some inspiration from it for a makeup look to compliment your costume.

Turn up your volume and enjoy the music. The song is baaaaadddddd!

Artist: Ian Alvarez (Bunji Garlin) featuring Nigel Rojas
Title: Differentology.

This song is available on Itunes and Trinidadtunes.com

♥✿♥Happy Valentine's Day! - Makeup Tutorial♥✿♥

As I mentioned in my last Video Inspiration post, February is the month of Carnival, Mardi Gras (same thing as Carnival) and love.

This look was inspired by innocence, sensuality and love, some of the things that Valentine's day has come to be known for, but really didn't start out that way.

The look is simple, and anyone can do it. It can be worn not just for a Valentine's day date, but for any occasion. I hope you enjoy, and if you do try it let me know how you liked it.

Happy Valentine's Day.

♥Video Inspiration - Love♥

February is the month of Carnival, Mardi Gras and Love. I am a Musiq fan, and this song popped into my head. Turn up your volume, and enjoy!

Product Review: As I Am Coconut Co-Wash

This product has gotten mixed reviews. My usual conditioner I use for co-washing was coming to an end, so I decided to purchase this to try. I bought it at my local Sally's Beauty Supply. Price: $7.99, less if you have a Sally's Beauty club card.

These are the ingredients:

Key Ingredients: Tangerine, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Saw Palmetto and Phytosterols

Aqueous (Water, Aqua Purificada, Purified) Extracts: Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) and Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine)¹, Cetyl Alcohol², Cetrimonium Chloride, Cetearyl Alcohol², PEG-40 Castor Oil, Stearlkonium chloride, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil², Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil¹, Phytosterols¹, Serenoa Serrulata Fruit Extract¹, Quaternium-18, Potassium Sorbate, Fragrance/Parfum, Limonene, Methylisothiazolinone

If you are not familiar with co-washing, it is simply just using conditioner the same way you would use shampoo. People with textured hair normally include this technique into our healthy hair journey, since textured hair is know for not retaining moisture well.

Find out what I though of it.

If you use this product, feel free to comment below and let me know what you think. If you don't use it, you can also leave a comment below too! LOL!
